Hannah Schoch is board member and secretary of the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc), works for a NPO that facilitates knowledge exchange between politics and science in Switzerland, and is currently completing her PhD, researching the intersection of literature, cultural theory, and philosophy of democracy. She contributes to Eurodoc’s policy and advocacy work, represents Eurodoc in the CDEDU and is active in Eurodoc’s Ukraine task force. Her specific foci are the role of higher education in and for democracy and the EHEA fundamental values, particularly academic freedom. She is currently developing the “Eurodoc Ambassador Programme for Values and Democracy in European Higher Education” together with Pil Maria Saugmann, President of Eurodoc.
