Ms Itumeleng Selebalo holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences (Resource conservation biology) from the University of the Witwatersrand. In her current position with the Kruger to Canyon Biosphere Reserve in she is involved in projects that aims to support landowners, users and implementing agents to strategically plan and maintain water related ecological infrastructure and to implement  modelling tools to determine priority areas for ecosystem restoration for  water security in the Blyde River Catchment. She leads the South African Biodiversity Institute) Living Catchment project in the K2C region which aims to enable collaboration, co-learning, and co-creation in the nexus of built and ecological infrastructure for water security.  Some of her work includes with the implementation of The Nature Conservancy Catchment investment program by providing and analysing data for the feasibility analysis conducted in the region and she contributes to the implementation of the Climate Risk Informed Decision Analysis (CRIDA) project in the K2C landscape.
