Dr. Sónia Semedo is a Physicist with a master and a PhD degree in Physics Engineering, specialization in instrumentation. Her reseach interests are wireless sensor network, Internet of Things and Artificial Intellegence. Dr. Semedo is a assistant professor at University of Cabo Verde since 2016. Recentely, she won a ARISE - The African Research Iniciative for Scientific Excellence  scholarship for five years
