My name is Mmaphuti Setati, working for the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development in Pretoria as a Manager for Animal Production Regulatory Services. My area of specialty is Animal Breeding and Genetics. Besides my qualifications in Animal Production, I also hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Assistance Management obtained from the University of Fort Hare under Institute of Development Assistance Management. I am a professional scientist registered with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions. My role in the Department involves coordination of application of relevant Acts, policies, strategies, international agreements and treaties related to agrobiodiversity with more emphasis on animal improvement and conservation of animal genetic resources.
