I am the Director of the Central Administration for Planning and Technical Affairs, at the National Organization of Urban Harmony, Egypt. In addition to working at the Architecture Dep., Zagazig University, Egypt.  Also, I have a long list of publications in urban planning and urban conservation. 

I participated in many national/ international projects in Egypt like “Rehabilitation Architecture Hassan Fathy’s village-Luxor” with UNESCO.

Also, I am the Director of the project of “Documentation of the Heritage buildings with 3D laser Scanner in Down Town Cairo” as a part of my mission with the NOUH to safeguard the New Heritage buildings in Egypt. In addition to the project of “Revitalizing the Down Town Cairo” from 2017 tell now, which is considered as the most important national project in the New Heritage areas in Egypt.

All over these years of work and study, I attended many international conferences and meetings and also participate in many workshops in and out Egypt with UNESCO, ICCROM, ICCROM-ATHAR, RehabiMed, German Young Academy & Young Academy of the Arabic World, and UN-Habitat. My last participation was as a resource person with ICCROM workshop: PNC22 “People, Nature, Culture 2022” that has been held in Korea, in August 2022.
