Nadine Sims is a content creator at African Science Stars magazine. She started her studies at City Varsity in Cape Town, completing a Higher Certificate in Journalism and Digital Media, with distinction. She then went on to study at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), doing a National Diploma in Journalism. 

She started her professional career in media in 2016 writing for several online publications. She has also worked at Fairlady magazine as an intern and at TEDxCapeTown on the Brand Communications Team. In 2017 she started working at Science Stars magazine as a freelance journalist and subsequently became the acting editor from 2017 - 2018. 

Sims has done short courses in photography and is busy completing a social media management course. Currently, Nadine oversees the social media and online presence of Science Stars, creating content for all the social media channels, as well as the magazine.
