I am a professional water resources scientist employed with the Department of Water and Sanitation, South Africa. I have worked in various sections of the department, from resource protection focusing on the biological monitoring of rivers which entail measuring, assessing and reporting on the ecological state of the aquatic ecosystems, to water conservation and demend management, focisung on the implementation of best management practices in irrigation schemes. I am also a task team member of the SDG 6.4 reporting for the country, and i am invilved in the JICA non-revenue water training in the local government sector.
