Sameh Soror is dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Helwan University and founding Director of the Centre for Scientific Excellence "Structural Biology Research".

He was graduated from Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo Uni. with the grade Excellent (honor) & he received his master and PhD degrees in genetics from Kaiserslautern Uni, Germany. He worked as postdoctoral researcher at Free Uni. Brussels and at Flames Institute for Biotechnology in Belgium.

Sameh is the chair of biotechnology executive board of Arab German chamber of industry and commerce. He served as supervisor of the specialized councils and as supervisor of cultural & scientific relations sector at ASRT. Soror is a member of the IAP international advisory committee for COVID-19 & a member of the international network of government science advice-Africa steering committee. He was a member of the ISC advisory committee and the head of NAM S&T center membership committee. He was the Co-Chair of the GYA. He has been selected as a member and secretary general of the council of education & scientific research policies at ASRT. He is research consultant of king Abdulaziz Uni.

He is cofounder of the Egyptian young academy of sciences. He is a member of the steering committee of INGSA-African chapter. He was head of the membership committee of NAM S&T center and member of GRC executive committee. He was lionized by world economic forum during the meeting of new champions in Tianjin, China. He was awarded the State prize for advanced technological (sciences medical sciences) & Helwan university prize in basic science, and excellence prize in medical sciences.
