Dr. George Thomas is the Public Affairs Manager at Frontiers, a leading open-access publisher headquartered in Switzerland. With a deep commitment to fostering collaboration at the intersection of science, policy, and innovation, Dr. Thomas manages strategic partnerships with globally recognized organizations, including UN Climate Change, WHO, UNHCR, UNESCO, UNEP, WEF, Building Bridges, GESDA, Swissnex, and the International Year of Quantum.

In his current role, Dr. Thomas manages the Frontiers Policy Labs, a dynamic platform bridging critical discussions between science and policy-making. He also oversees Frontiers’ contributions to the WEF Top 10 Emerging Tech Report, a flagship publication of the World Economic Forum, and supports the Frontiers Planet Prize by cultivating impactful strategic alliances.

Prior to joining Frontiers, Dr. Thomas worked at an innovative environmental startup in Germany, where he facilitated Indo-German technology transfer, driving cross-border collaboration in environmental technology.

Dr. Thomas holds a PhD in Biology with a specialization in environmental science from the University of Konstanz, Germany.
