My name is Orsolya Váncsa-Szántó, I am an experienced consultant specializing in public sector management and sports business advisory, currently serving at PwC Hungary. With a solid background in international trade, customs, and sustainability, I had  contributed to multiple PwC departments since 2021 and previously worked in diplomatic area at the Hungarian Embassy in Romania. I am holding an MSc in Business Law from Titu Maiorescu University and a MSc in International Business Management from Bucharest Economic Academy. I am currently,  a PhD student  at  Pharmaceutical Sciences at Semmelweis University, focusing on  rise of spin-offs and start-ups from research institutions and corporate ventures highlights the growing significance of this sector, contributing to economic development, job creation, and the translation of scientific discoveries into practice. Outcomes for health industry firms vary and include survival, growth in size, increased output, and academic contributions.

I am passionate about bridging policy and business insights, and  actively engage in the fields of sustainability and digital innovation.  I am very motivated to obtain and connect business with science, one of my main enchancer is that started from 2024 I achieved from the National Research, Development and Innovation Office, University Research Scholarship Program - Cooperative Doctoral Program award.
