I am Szilárd Váncsa, a medical professional deeply committed to advancing healthcare through clinical practice, research, and education. As a gastroenterology resident at the Pancreatic Diseases Institute of Semmelweis University, I also serve as Deputy Director for Education at the Translational Medicine Center. My career combines hands-on medical practice with leadership in academic and research-driven initiatives.
I hold a medical degree from the University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology in Târgu Mureș, Romania, and earned my PhD summa cum laude in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pécs, Hungary. My academic journey continues with the Clinical Science Scholars Program at Harvard Medical School in collaboration with Semmelweis University, where I further develop expertise in clinical science and translational medicine.
Teaching and mentoring are integral to my career. I have taught pathophysiology and scientific methodology in both Hungarian and English and continue to guide students and researchers in their academic pursuits. My work spans multiple disciplines, including translational medicine, clinical research, and advanced digital methodologies.
Fluent in Hungarian, Romanian, and English, with additional skills in German, I engage with international communities and contribute to collaborative projects. My scientific contributions are accessible on Google Scholar and MTMT.
