I am a postdoctoral researcher based at the South African Medical Research Council (SA-MRC) Center for TB Research at the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics (MBHG), Stellenbosch University. My research looks at ways to improve diagnostics for drug resistant TB and understanding the infectiousness of TB. I am also Vice Chair of MBHG Societal Impact Task Team where we work on several science communication and community engagement projects throughout the year.
