Christian Weidlich is Deputy Head of the International Relations Department at the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina. He is responsible for coordinating Leopoldina’s G7 and G20 policy advice, fostering collaboration with international academy networks, and managing bilateral relations with academies and research organizations, particularly in the Arab states and Korea. Prior to joining the Leopoldina, he was a Research Associate at the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. He holds degrees in Political Science, German Language and Literature, and International Relations from the Universities of Münster and Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
