My career objective jhas always been to fight the spread of infectious diseases on both the biomedical and social front, potentially through the implementation of science policy that foster strategic partnerships between multiple bio-economy players. I have strong expertise in HIV vaccine research and development. I also have expertise in preparing promotional and educational medical communication materials for biotech companies. I function with minimal supervison, follow briefs and deliver complex projects with regular scientific writting. I have a track record of project management from conceptualisation through execution and spearheading and mantaining effective collaborations with different stakeholders. 

I am particularly interested in science policy and diplomacy, technology transfer, intellectual property and licencesure, vaccine and diagnostic biomanufacturing value chain, open science and translation of our research into commercialisable bioproducts while being cognisant of the biosecurity threats.
