Farzana Zaman is a dedicated public health professional and Divisional TB Expert at the National Tuberculosis Control Program (NTP) in Bangladesh. With a robust educational background, including an MBBS from the University of Dhaka and a Master in Public Health from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, she has specialized in tuberculosis management and infectious diseases.

Currently, Farzana plays a pivotal role in planning, implementing, and evaluating TB control activities at both divisional and national levels. Her expertise encompasses program monitoring, guideline development, and stakeholder engagement, contributing significantly to the national TB response in Bangladesh.

Farzana's extensive research experience includes co-investigating clinical trials for vaccines and public health interventions. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals, focusing on antibiotic consumption and immunization strategies. As a passionate educator, she has trained numerous healthcare providers and mentored students in public health.

Fluent in English and Bengali, and with a solid understanding of Arabic and Hindi, Farzana actively collaborates on One Health initiatives and engages in advocacy for women in science. Her commitment to advancing public health and improving healthcare access reflects her dedication to making a positive impact in her community and beyond.
