Clive Cookson became a Financial Times senior science writer in October 2023, after more than 30 years as science editor. He covers the whole span of science worldwide, from medicine and biology to physics and space exploration, including research funding and policy issues. He worked previously as science correspondent for BBC Radio. Clive was named British Science Journalist of the Year 2022.
