Ákos Lencsés is a data steward at the Governmental Agency for IT Development, Hungary (KIFÜ), with a strong focus on open science. Trained as a librarian and mathematician, Ákos received his PhD from Eötvös Loránd University. He has participated in various EOSC projects including NI4OS-Europe and EOSC Future. He actively takes part in open science education programs, conducts training at Hungarian universities and research institutions, and develops online training materials. He is member of the Hungarian CoARA Working Group. Ákos was awarded the "Young Librarian of the Year" prize and was elected as an Executive Board member of the Hungarian Young Academy for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024.
