I currently work at the European Commission – International Partnerships Directorate-General INTPA – focusing on regional and multi-Country programmes for Sub-Saharan Africa in the filed of Science, Technology, Innovation and Space. Prior to this, I worked on Global Gateway, Team Europe, joint implementation, coordination with EU Member States on promoting the development of effectiveness principles. Also, I was a Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation in Israel. I have over 25 years of policy, legal and financial experience. Prior to joining the European Union institutions – the Commission and the Council – I worked in private sector where I led the efforts in building partnerships globally and the organisations’ performance to achieve the set financial outcomes. I also served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania in United Nations, International Organizations and Human Rights Department. In 2000-2004, I founded and led NGO “Youth for Euro Atlantic integration”, Kaunas branch, in Lithuania.
