Anu Peltola, as Director of UNCTAD Statistics oversees the statistical work of the UN Trade and Development and supports countries in measuring Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) indicators on trade, maritime transport, investment, illicit finance, south-south cooperation, and enterprise sustainability. Anu co-led, with UNDESA and UNDP, a UN Secretary-General’s initiative on ‘Valuing What Counts to progress beyond GDP’, and a UN-initiative to cost SDG achievement. Previously, she worked at the UNECE Statistical Division and Statistics Finland.
