Stella holds a B.A. in Language and Communication and a M.A. in European Studies. She has gained over ten years of international working experience in the field of climate change, biodiversity and the Sustainable Development Goals in the United Nations and the European Parliament. Coordinating multi-stakeholder platforms and fostering the science-policy dialogue is what she enjoys most. In her current role as Scientific Advisor at DLR, Stella represents the agency in Brussels, coordinating the „Brussels FutureTalks“, a dialogue format fostering future-oriented discussions. She is also managing the Secretariat of the EU Science Diplomacy Alliance jointly with the Centre for Social Innovation, and chaired the Alliance in the 2nd half of 2021. She further supports the European Commission in the implementation of Europe's global approach to cooperation in research and innovation.
